Full & Partial Service Planning

Hey y'all!  My name is Meagan and I am the owner of Magnolia Grove Weddings.   

Here's a bit about me:

I started coordinating weddings over 9 years ago, and have worked on over 400 weddings and events since then.

 

I live in my hometown with my three dogs-- despite the fact that I never thought I'd move home after college.  I absolutely LOVE to travel, and am always looking for new places to explore (and fun new cities to plan weddings in!).

I'm a functioning shopaholic, and I am always looking to shop small, & support local businesses, but I'm also a sucker for Target & Hobby Lobby.

Cuddling puppies and drinking wine is my favorite pastime, I will monogram anything that sits in one place for too long, and I have been known to watch Netflix movies in the middle of the day, when I should be going to the gym. 

I stand by the idea that leopard print and light pink are "neutral colors", and integrate them into my wardrobe constantly.  My life is held together by leggings as pants, dry shampoo, and sugar free vanilla lattes.

I'm here to serve couples who are stressed out, burned out, struggling with their vision, or just need a second opinion on how things look.  Whether that's taking something off of your plate or standing by your side and creating it with you-- I'm happy to help.  

 

I drink about 5 cups of coffee a day, and I'd love for one of them to be sitting down and getting to know you!

Savannah

Partial Planning & Event Management

Savannah has been with Magnolia Grove since 2015, and has been helping plan and coordinate events since since 2009.

 

From weddings and birthday parties, to graduation celebrations and any other occasion that needs a keen eye to detail, she enjoys helping make each one unique & unforgettable.

 

Coordinating on the day of is Savannah's specialty, where the chaos fuels her adrenaline. Her favorite wedding to work is barn style.

 

When she's not helping coordinate weddings, she can be found curled up with her cat, dog, and a good book. 

Becca

Event Management & DIY Brides

Becca is originally from the Philadelphia area, but decided to stay in Raleigh after graduating from NC State.

 

She began as Magnolia Grove's administrative assistant and quickly adapted to the wedding industry and became part of the planning team. In her free time, you can find her obsessing over her adorable dog, Utley, or cozying up with a nice cup of coffee and her favorite rom-com.

 

Becca loves the unique touches that show the couples personality in every style of wedding, but backyard style weddings are her favorite!  She is very excited to be planning her OWN wedding this year, & we are so excited to help coordinate it!

Audrey

Day of Coordination

Audrey joined the MG team as an intern back in 2017, and has been a part of the family ever since.  

Whether it be a backyard tented reception for 300 or a DIY reception at a vineyard, she loves getting to see the couples' vision come to life, and help them in any way that she can.

When she's not helping plan weddings, you can find her visiting family at the beach, or catching up on episodes of Bob's Burgers.

Katie

Corporate Events + Day of Coordination

Katie also started as an intern with Magnolia Grove, and completed both wedding and corporate internships with our team over the last two years.

Her love of travel, paired with her attention to detail and level-headedness in stressful situations, made her a perfect addition to our planning team.  

Although her semester in Italy was cut short due to COVID-19, we are very excited to have her back, safe and healthy.  

When she's not planning events, you can find her planning her next weekend getaway or spending time with her new niece!

Kendall

Corporate Events and Event Management

Kendall is the most recent addition to our list of planners, but she is not new to the world of event planning!  With a background in Student Affairs, she is familiar with large-scale and corporate events, as well as weddings and social events.

 

When she's not working, hanging out with her family, or eating Mexican food-- you can find her hanging out with her boyfriend (which is often these days, since they've been quarantined together, which we've decided is the true test of any relationship).

Emily

In house Designer

Emily joined our team in October 2018 as our operations manager.

 

A Wilson native, she loves couples that give nods to North Carolinian culture, be it through their florals or their food, as part of their wedding day.

 

Additionally, Emily’s background in art allows her to help Magnolia Grove clients fulfill their specific design dreams to add unique touches to their special day.

She recently became the owner of ArtDaze studio, where she offers art classes and custom commission pieces.

 

In her spare time, Emily can be found painting, bird-watching, planning escapes to the beach, or trying to get her cat to like her. 

Our planners, assistants, and event staff LOVE what we do, and look forward to the opportunity to bring your event to life!
