Meet the Collective
Founder & Creative Director
Hey y'all! My name is Meagan and I am the founder of Magnolia Collective.
I started coordinating weddings 11 years ago, and have worked on over 700 weddings and events since then.
I'm passionate about serving couples who are stressed out, burned out, struggling with their vision, or just need a second opinion on how things look. Whether that's taking something off of your plate or standing by your side and creating it with you-- I'm happy to help.
I believe there's a place for everyone here, and want to do whatever I can to bring your unique visions to life. And while I absolutely love being present on a wedding day, I am also aware that we can best serve our clients by leading with our strengths-- and that looks like this amazing team.
While I will continue to serve our design and full service clients, this amazing team of ladies who have been working behind the scenes for years to bring events to life, are stepping up into the spotlight and will be working to provide more 1:1 customized client experiences. We will continue to work as a team on projects, to bring our individual strengths to each event.
Some couples need help with logistics, while others need help with design. Some want a planner that is also their best friend, and some want someone to operate behind the scenes to get the job done. Whatever that looks like for you-- we've got someone amazing on the team who can help. There is no one "right way" to plan an event-- we just want to find the way that's right for you.
Hey guys! I'm Savannah.
I have been with the Magnolia team since 2015, and have been helping to plan and coordinate events since 2009.
From weddings and birthday parties to graduation celebrations and everything in between, my keen eye for detail allows me to help make each event unique and unforgettable.
When not coordinating weddings, you can find me binging true crime podcasts and TV shows, hanging out with my cat and dog, or planning theme nights with friends.
Hey! I'm Elizabeth.
I graduated from East Carolina University with my degree in Hospitality Management - Conventional & Special Events. During my time at ECU, I interned with Meagan and immediately knew I would be a Wedding Planner.
After graduating, I moved to New York City where I continued my event planning dreams at the NYC Green Room 42. But fate has brought me right back to the Magnolia Collective family that I love.
I specialize in outdoor ceremonies, rustic barn venues, and open field tent receptions. I simply love the amount of creativity that can be put into a wedding with a blank slate, and making each and every event unique to reflect our special couples.
Fun fact, I recently have opened my own rental business called Wedding Rentals NC, in hopes to provide all our couples with the rentals of their dreams!
Getting to know each and every couple, and becoming their best friend by wedding day makes it all worth it. I can not wait to meet you and your fiance to hear all about your fairytale wedding. Let's get started on turning your dream wedding into a reality!
Hey y'all, my name is Katie!
I started out as an intern with the Magnolia Collective team two years ago, and fell in love with this team and being a planner.
Other than planning events, I absolutely love to travel and am always looking for new places to explore. I have a very wide range of style and am always ready to try something new!
On the rare lazy day, I love to relax and read any type of book you give me. I am excited for all of our upcoming weddings and the opportunity to help someone's dream wedding come true.
Hey, I'm Kendall.
I joined the Magnolia team about a year ago, and have really enjoyed my time with the team thus far.
With a background in Student Affairs, I'm familiar with large-scale and corporate events, as well as weddings and social events.
When I'm not working, you can find me playing on my softball team, cuddling my cat Lily, or working on home renovation projects.
I'm very good with logistics and have been known to keep calm under pressure, but my favorite part of the wedding day is definitely a fun-filled reception!
Hey y'all I'm Audrey, and I've been working with Magnolia Collective for the past 3 years-- first as an intern, now as a planner.
I love the behind the scenes work that goes into planning a wedding such as a venue walk-throughs and vendor meetings.
For the last 2 years, I have worked in Higher Education food and beverage services so I am well versed in all things catering!
When I'm not working, I love to spend time with my family and relaxing on the beach with a good book. I can't wait to work with you!
Hi, I'm Becca!
I'm originally from the Philadelphia area, but decided to stay in Raleigh after graduating from NC State.
I began as Magnolia Grove's administrative assistant and quickly adapted to the wedding industry, and became part of the planning team about two years ago.
In my free time, you can find me obsessing over my adorable dog, Utley, or cozying up with a nice cup of coffee and favorite rom-com.
I the unique touches that show the couples personality in every style of wedding, but backyard style weddings are my favorite!
I'm a COVID bride myself, so I'm very familiar with the stress of having to postpone a wedding, and all of the planning that goes along with it.
Hey, I'm Emily!
I joined the team in October 2018 as the Operations Manager, but quickly transitioned into the role of In-House Designer.
A Wilson native, I loves couples that give nods to North Carolinian culture, be it through their florals or their food, as part of their wedding day.
My background in art allows me to help clients fulfill their specific design dreams to add unique touches to their special day, ranging anywhere from custom crests and live painting, to table numbers and place cards.
I recently became the owner of ArtDaze studio, where we offers art classes and custom commission pieces.
In my spare time, you can find me painting, bird-watching, planning escapes to the beach, or trying to get my cat to like me.
